Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply before departure
Apply for a Togo eVisa at evisa.gouv.tg at least 7 days before travel. The eVisa is valid for 15 days and costs around 35,000 XOF (about $60 USD). Print the approval letter and carry it with your passport — immigration at Lomé Airport will stamp you in.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for the duration of stay
Your Jordanian passport must be valid for at least the full period you plan to stay in Togo. Airlines at Queen Alia Airport may check this before boarding — no 6-month rule applies here.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Togo
Immigration at Lomé Airport routinely asks for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready — they want to see you leave within the eVisa's 15-day validity.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host. Immigration officers rarely ask for it, but having it avoids delays if they do.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Have at least 200,000 XOF (about $330 USD) in cash or a credit card statement ready. Officers rarely check this for short eVisa stays, but it's safer to carry proof.Recommended
eVisa required — no visa on arrival
Jordanian passport holders must get an eVisa before flying. There is no visa on arrival option at Lomé Airport. Apply at least two weeks ahead.
Yellow fever vaccine required
Togo requires proof of yellow fever vaccination for all travellers over 1 year old. Bring your yellow card — you may be asked at immigration.
