Jordanian passport holders need a visa to enter Ukraine in 2026. You must apply for an e-visa online before you travel — there is no visa-on-arrival option. Plan ahead: processing takes a few business days, and you'll need to show the approved visa at the border.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Visa application
Apply for a visa at the Ukrainian embassy or consulate
Jordanian passport holders need a visa before traveling to Ukraine. Apply at the nearest Ukrainian embassy or consulate — processing takes up to 10 working days. You'll need a valid passport, completed application form, passport photo, travel insurance, and proof of accommodation.Visa infoRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for the entire stay
Your passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Ukraine. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Ukrainian law, but airlines may enforce a 6-month rule — check with your carrier before flying.Required
Return or onward ticket
Recommended to show at immigration
Border officers may ask for proof of onward travel. Have a printed or digital return ticket or onward itinerary ready. This is not always checked, but having it avoids delays.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Immigration may ask where you're staying. Have a hotel reservation, rental agreement, or a notarized invitation letter from a Ukrainian host. This is rarely checked but keeps things smooth.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
You may be asked to prove you have enough money for your stay. Carry bank statements, a credit card, or cash equivalent to at least $50 USD per day. Officers rarely ask, but it's better to have it.Recommended
E-visa required — no exceptions
Jordanian passport holders cannot enter Ukraine without an approved e-visa. There is no visa on arrival, no visa waiver, and no border issuance. Apply online at evisa.gov.ua before you book your flight.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in Ukraine, not from your departure date. If your passport expires sooner, renew it first.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-visa online
Go to evisa.gov.ua, fill out the application form, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $20–$30 depending on processing speed). Wait for approval — usually 3–5 business days. Print the approval email or save the PDF on your phone.
2
Book your travel and accommodation
Book a flight to Ukraine (most likely Kyiv Boryspil or Lviv airports) and a return or onward ticket. Reserve your first night's accommodation. Keep all confirmations as PDFs or screenshots.
3
Arrive at Ukrainian border control
At the passport control booth, hand over your passport and the printed e-visa approval. The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation confirmation. Answer honestly about your travel plans. They'll stamp your passport with the entry date and allowed stay.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. If you have nothing to declare, walk through the green channel. You're now in Ukraine.
