Uganda entry requirements for Jordan passport holders
Jordanian passport holders must get an eVisa before traveling to Uganda in 2026. The entire application is online, and approval usually arrives within a few days. Once approved, you can stay up to 90 days.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| eVisa application Apply before travel | Apply for your Uganda eVisa at the official Uganda eVisa portal. Processing takes 2–3 business days, so submit at least a week before departure. Print the approval letter and carry it with your passport — immigration at Entebbe will ask to see it.Apply for eVisa | Required |
| Valid passport Must be valid for entire stay | Your Jordanian passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Uganda. Uganda does not enforce a strict 6-month validity rule, but airlines may check — if your passport expires within 3 months of travel, renew it before booking. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Required for entry | Immigration officers at Entebbe International Airport routinely ask for proof of onward travel. Have a printed or digital copy of your return flight or a ticket to your next destination ready. Without it, you may be denied boarding or entry. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Recommended to carry | While not always checked, having a hotel booking or a letter of invitation from your host speeds up the immigration process. If you're staying with friends, ask them to write a simple letter with their address and phone number. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Recommended to carry | Officers may ask how you'll support yourself during your stay. Carry a bank statement or a credit card showing you have at least $200–$300 USD available. Cash in USD is widely accepted for visa fees and expenses. | Recommended |
