What happens at the border

Arrive at Belize airport or land border
You'll enter Belize at Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City, or at a land border from Mexico or Guatemala. At the airport, follow signs to 'Immigration' — it's a single queue for all foreigners.

Present your documents to the immigration officer
Hand over your passport, completed arrival card (given on the plane or at the border), and any requested documents. The officer may ask how long you're staying and where you're staying. Answer clearly.

Receive entry stamp and proceed
The officer will stamp your passport with the date of entry and the number of days allowed (usually 30 or 90). You're free to go. Collect your luggage and head to customs.
