Apply for your visa online
Go to gov.uk/apply-uk-visa and complete the Standard Visitor visa application. You'll need to upload documents and pay the fee (around £100–£115).

Attend a biometric appointment
After submitting, book an appointment at a UK Visa Application Centre in Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, or Nagoya). Bring your passport and appointment confirmation. They'll take your photo and fingerprints.

Wait for processing
Standard processing takes 3–4 weeks. You can pay extra for priority (5 working days) or super priority (24 hours) if available. Track your application online.

Travel to the UK
Once approved, you'll get a vignette sticker in your passport. Fly to any UK airport (Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, etc.). At border control, join the 'All Other Passports' queue. Have your passport, return ticket, and accommodation details ready.
