Apply for the eVisa online
Go to evisa.gouv.bj/en/ and fill out the application form. Upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee with a credit or debit card. Processing usually takes 3-5 business days. You'll receive the eVisa by email as a PDF.

Print or save your eVisa
Print a paper copy of the eVisa and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and on arrival in Benin.

Arrive at Cotonou Airport (COO)
Most flights arrive at Cadjehoun Airport in Cotonou. After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Passport Control'. Have your passport, eVisa, and return ticket ready. The officer will stamp your passport and let you through.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your bags from the carousel. You may be asked to show your customs declaration form (if any). Then walk through the green 'Nothing to Declare' channel or red channel if you have goods to declare.
