What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Cameroon eVisa website (evisacameroon.com). Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $80–$100 depending on processing speed) with a credit card. Processing takes 3–7 business days.
2
Receive and save your eVisa
You'll get the eVisa by email as a PDF. Print a copy and save it on your phone. Keep it with your passport.
3
Arrive at a Cameroon airport
Most flights land at Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport (NSI) or Douala International Airport (DLA). Go to the immigration counter for foreign passports.
4
Present documents at immigration
Hand over your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. The officer may ask for your hotel address. They'll stamp your passport and let you through.
5
Collect baggage and exit
After immigration, pick up your luggage from the carousel, then proceed through customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel.
