Passport validity is critical
Oman enforces the 6-month validity rule strictly. If your passport expires sooner, you'll be turned away at the airport — even if you've already booked hotels and tours.
30 days is not extendable
The visa-free stay is fixed at 30 days. There's no extension process. If you need more time, you'll have to exit and re-enter, or apply for a different visa before your stay ends.

After landing, follow signs to 'Arrivals' and join the queue for foreign passport holders. The visa-free entry is processed at the same immigration counters — no separate desk.

Hand over your passport to the immigration officer. They'll check your passport validity, scan it, and may ask your purpose of visit and where you're staying. Answer briefly.
