South Korean passport holders need an eVisa to enter Togo. The application is entirely online, and you must have it approved before you travel. As of 2026, this is the only way to get a visa for tourism or business.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply before travel
South Korean passport holders must apply for an eVisa at evisa.gouv.tg before arriving in Togo. The application takes around 3–5 business days to process — do not book non-refundable flights until you receive approval. Print the approval email or save the PDF on your phone.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must cover entire stay
Your passport must be valid for at least the full duration of your stay in Togo. Airlines at Incheon check this before boarding — if your passport expires before you leave Togo, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Required for entry
Immigration officers at Lomé–Tokoin Airport always ask for proof of onward travel. Have a printed or digital copy of your return flight or a ticket to your next destination ready. Airlines also check this before departure from South Korea.Required
Proof of accommodation
Recommended
Carry a hotel booking confirmation or a letter of invitation from your host in Togo. Immigration may ask where you are staying — having a printed address and phone number speeds things up.Recommended
Proof of funds
Recommended
Have access to at least 500 USD in cash or a credit card for your stay. Togo is a cash-based economy — bring euros or US dollars to exchange at the airport or local banks.Recommended
Yellow fever vaccine is mandatory
You must have a yellow fever vaccination certificate (Yellow Card) to enter Togo. Without it, you may be denied entry or forced to get vaccinated at the airport (which costs money and time). Get the shot at least 10 days before you travel.
eVisa is the only option
There is no visa on arrival for South Korean passport holders. You must have the eVisa approved before you fly. Don't risk showing up without it.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to evisa.gouv.tg, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport photo, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 3-5 business days. You'll receive the approved eVisa by email.
2
Print or save the eVisa
Once approved, print a copy and also save a PDF on your phone. Immigration at Lomé–Tokoin Airport will ask to see it.
3
Arrive at Lomé Airport
After landing, proceed to immigration. Present your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. They'll stamp you in. The whole process usually takes 15-30 minutes.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, grab your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. There's usually no baggage check unless you look suspicious.
