Apply for your visa online
Go to gov.uk/apply-uk-visa and complete the online application. You'll need to upload documents and pay the fee. Standard visitor visa costs £115 (about 46 KWD) as of 2026.

Attend a biometric appointment
After submitting, book an appointment at a UK Visa Application Centre (VAC). In Kuwait, the VAC is in Kuwait City. Bring your passport and appointment confirmation. They'll take your photo and fingerprints.

Wait for processing
Standard processing takes 3 weeks, but can be longer during peak seasons. You can pay extra for priority (5 working days) or super priority (next working day) if available.

Collect your passport
Once approved, you'll get your passport back with the visa vignette. Check the dates and details are correct before you travel.

Arrive in the UK
At UK border control, present your passport with the visa. The officer may ask about your trip, accommodation, and return plans. Answer clearly and honestly. Keep your documents accessible.
