What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to evisacameroon.com, fill in your details, upload a passport photo and passport scan, and pay the fee. Processing takes 2–5 business days. You'll get a PDF approval by email.
2
Print or save your eVisa
Keep the PDF on your phone and print a paper backup. Immigration at Yaoundé Nsimalen or Douala airports will ask to see it before they stamp your passport.
3
Arrive at the airport
At passport control, hand over your passport and eVisa. The officer will check your passport validity and blank page, then stamp you in. Have your return ticket and hotel booking ready just in case.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, grab your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. Usually no questions unless you're carrying something unusual.
