Lebanese passport holders need a visa to enter Belarus in 2026. You must apply in advance through the official e-Visa portal or at a Belarusian embassy — there is no visa-on-arrival option for Lebanese citizens.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
Visa application
Apply for a visa at a Belarusian embassy or consulate
You need a visa before traveling to Belarus. Apply at the nearest Belarusian embassy or consulate — processing takes 5–15 business days depending on the type. Check the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for the application form and required documents.Check visa requirementsRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for the entire stay
Your passport must be valid for at least the duration of your stay in Belarus. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Belarusian law, but airlines may enforce a 6-month rule — check with your carrier before flying.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Belarus
Immigration officers at Minsk National Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking ready — they may deny entry if you can't show one.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Border officials may ask where you're staying. Have a hotel confirmation or a notarized invitation letter from a Belarusian host ready. This is not always checked, but it's safer to carry it.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
You may be asked to prove you have enough money for your stay. Carry cash (at least €50 per day) or a bank statement — Belarusian immigration rarely enforces this strictly, but it's better to have it.Recommended
Visa required — no exceptions
Lebanese passport holders cannot enter Belarus without a pre-approved visa. There is no visa-on-arrival or visa-waiver program. Apply for the e-Visa at least a week before your trip.
Register your stay within 5 days
If you're not staying in a hotel, your host must register you with the local migration office within 5 days of arrival. Failure to register can result in fines or deportation.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-Visa
Go to e-visa.by and fill out the application. You'll need your passport details, travel dates, and accommodation info. Pay the fee online (around €60 for a single-entry tourist visa). Processing takes 3–5 business days. Print the approval email.
2
Prepare your documents
Before heading to the airport, gather: your printed e-Visa approval, passport with 6+ months validity, return ticket confirmation, first-night hotel booking, and travel insurance documents. Keep them in a single folder.
3
Arrive at Minsk National Airport (MSQ)
At passport control, hand over your passport and printed e-Visa. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel booking. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport and let you through. The whole process usually takes 5–10 minutes.
4
Register your stay
If you're staying in a hotel, they'll register you automatically. If you're in a private apartment, you must register with the local migration office within 5 days of arrival. Your host should handle this — confirm with them.
