Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply online before travel
You need an eVisa to enter Kyrgyzstan. Apply at evisa.e-gov.kg — the official Kyrgyzstan eVisa portal. Processing takes 3–5 business days, and you'll receive a PDF by email. Print that PDF and carry it with your passport; immigration officers scan the barcode at the border.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for entire stay
Your Lebanese passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan does not enforce the 6-month validity rule, but airlines may still check for at least 6 months — check with your carrier before flying.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Kyrgyzstan
Immigration officers at Manas International Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone. If you're flying out to a Schengen country, the officer may also check your Schengen visa.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a printed hotel reservation or an invitation letter from your host in Kyrgyzstan. Officers rarely ask for it, but having it ready avoids delays at the counter.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Have a bank statement or credit card showing at least $50 USD per day of your stay. Officers rarely check this for eVisa holders, but it's safer to have a printout.Recommended
eVisa is the only option
Lebanese passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival or a visa at the border. The eVisa must be approved before you fly. Apply early.
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date. If it's even one day short, you will be denied boarding by the airline or refused entry at immigration.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for eVisa online
Go to evisa.e-gov.kg. Fill in your personal details, passport info, and travel dates. Upload a scanned copy of your passport photo page and a recent passport-style photo. Pay the fee (around $50–$70 depending on processing speed). Submit and wait 3–5 business days for approval.
2
Receive and save your eVisa
You'll get an email with a PDF attachment. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. The QR code on the eVisa is scanned at immigration.
3
Arrive at Manas International Airport (Bishkek)
At the immigration counter, hand over your passport and eVisa printout (or show the QR code on your phone). The officer will scan the QR code, check your passport validity, and stamp you in. Keep your return ticket and hotel booking handy — they may ask.
4
Complete arrival formalities
After the stamp, collect your luggage and proceed to customs. There's no arrival declaration form to fill. You're free to exit the airport.
