Sudan entry requirements for Lebanon passport holders
Lebanese passport holders must obtain a visa before traveling to Sudan, as there is no visa-on-arrival option. Applications are processed through the Sudanese embassy or consulate in Lebanon. Plan ahead and apply well in advance of your intended travel date.

Transiting through Sudan
Lebanese passport holders generally require a visa to enter Sudan, even for transit. A transit visa may be obtained at a Sudanese embassy or consulate before travel. Airside transit without a visa is only permitted if you remain in the international transit area and have a confirmed onward ticket, but this is subject to airline and border officer discretion.
- Diplomatic or official passport holders may be exempt.
- Passengers with confirmed onward tickets and no need to clear immigration may transit airside without a visa for up to 24 hours, but this is not guaranteed.
