What happens at the border

1
Arrive at Douglas-Charles Airport (DOM)
After landing, follow signs to Immigration. There's usually one queue for all visitors. Have your passport, return ticket (screenshot), and accommodation address ready. The officer will ask your purpose of visit and how long you're staying. Answer clearly. They'll stamp you in for up to 180 days.
2
Collect luggage and clear customs
After immigration, grab your bags from the carousel. Customs is straightforward — declare any expensive electronics or large amounts of cash (over $10,000 USD). Otherwise, walk through the green channel.
3
Exit the airport
Once through customs, you're free to go. Taxis are available outside. If you have a pre-booked transfer, the driver will usually be waiting with a sign.

Only if you're arriving from a country with yellow fever risk (e.g., parts of Africa or South America). If you're flying directly from Sri Lanka, you don't need it. But if you've been in a risk country within 6 days of arrival, you'll need the yellow fever certificate.
No. The 180-day visa-free entry is for tourism, business meetings, or visiting family. You cannot take paid employment or enroll in a course of study. For work or study, you need a separate visa or permit arranged before you travel.
You'll be denied boarding by the airline. Even if you somehow get to Dominica, immigration will refuse entry. Renew your passport before you travel.
