What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to https://evisa.gouv.ga/. Fill in your personal details, passport info, and travel dates. Upload a scanned copy of your passport bio page and a passport-style photo. Pay the fee (around $100–$150 depending on processing speed). Submit and wait for approval — typically 3–7 business days.
2
Pack your documents
Print or save to your phone: the eVisa approval email, your return/onward ticket, and your first night accommodation confirmation. Also have your passport ready.
3
Arrive at Libreville International Airport (LBV)
After landing, follow signs to immigration. Present your passport, eVisa approval, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in. The process usually takes 10–20 minutes. No separate visa-on-arrival counter — the eVisa is pre-approved.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, go to baggage claim, then customs. Declare any large sums of cash (over €10,000 or equivalent). Then you're free to enter Gabon.
