Go to the Irish visa website and fill out the online application form. You'll need to upload a digital photo, provide your travel dates, and answer questions about your purpose of visit.

Book an appointment at the visa application centre
After submitting the online form, you'll be directed to book an appointment at the Irish visa application centre in Colombo. Appointments can fill up weeks in advance, so book early.

Attend the appointment and submit documents
Bring your printed application, passport, photo, supporting documents (bank statements, flight booking, accommodation proof, travel insurance), and pay the visa fee. You'll also give biometrics (fingerprints and photo).

Wait for the visa decision
Processing usually takes 2–4 weeks, but can take longer during peak seasons. You can track your application online. Once approved, your passport will be returned with the visa sticker.

Travel to Ireland and go through immigration
