Yellow fever vaccination required

Apply for the e-visa online
Go to the official Chad e-visa portal (e-visa.td). Fill in your details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online — expect around $100–150 depending on your nationality. Processing takes 3–7 business days.

Receive your visa approval
You'll get an email with a PDF approval letter. Print it out and keep a digital copy on your phone. This letter is what you'll show at immigration.

Arrive at N'Djamena International Airport
At immigration, present your passport, printed visa approval, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in. The whole process usually takes 10–20 minutes if you have everything ready.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, grab your bags from the carousel. There's a customs check, but it's usually quick for tourists. Then you're free to exit the arrivals hall.
