Rwanda entry requirements for Luxembourg passport holders
Luxembourg passport holders can enter Rwanda without a visa for stays up to 30 days. This visa-free policy has been in place since 2024 and applies to tourism, business, and transit. Just show up at Kigali International Airport with your passport and you're good to go.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your passport needs to be valid for at least the length of your stay in Rwanda. Rwanda does not enforce the 6-month validity rule for Luxembourg passport holders, but your airline might check for at least 3 months beyond your travel dates. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Rwanda | Immigration officers at Kigali International Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot of your booking ready — they check this before stamping you in. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | You may be asked where you're staying. A hotel confirmation email or a letter from your host with their address and phone number works. Keep a copy on your phone or printed. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Sufficient money for your stay | Rwanda does not have a fixed minimum amount, but officers occasionally ask how you'll support yourself. Carry at least $100 USD in cash or have a credit card with a decent limit — ATMs are available in Kigali. | Recommended |
