Passport validity is strictly enforced

Check in as normal. The airline will verify your passport validity (6 months) and onward ticket. Have your Check-Mig QR code ready if asked.

Arrival at Colombian airport
At Bogotá (El Dorado), Medellín, or Cartagena airport, follow signs to 'Migración' (immigration). Join the queue for foreign visitors. Have your passport, Check-Mig QR code, and return ticket ready. The officer will stamp your passport — usually takes 1-2 minutes.

Collect your luggage and proceed through customs. No further paperwork needed. You're free to stay up to 90 days.

No, the standard 90-day visa-free stay cannot be extended. If you want to stay longer, you'd need to leave Colombia (e.g., to a neighboring country) and re-enter. Immigration may grant another 90 days at their discretion, but it's not guaranteed.
