Complete the online application
Go to GOV.UK and fill out the visa application form. You'll need to select your visa type (e.g., Standard Visitor, Student, Work). Have your passport details, travel plans, and address history ready. After submitting, you'll get a reference number and be directed to book your biometric appointment.

Pay the visa fee
Pay the fee online using a credit or debit card. The standard visitor visa fee is £115 (2026). Keep the payment confirmation — you'll need it for your appointment.

Book and attend biometric appointment
Book an appointment at the UK Visa Application Centre in Tripoli (operated by VFS Global). Bring your printed application form, passport, and payment receipt. At the appointment, you'll give fingerprints and a photo. The staff will also check your documents.
