Uganda entry requirements for Libya passport holders
Libyan passport holders need an eVisa to enter Uganda. You apply entirely online before traveling, and approval usually takes a few business days. As of 2026, there is no visa-on-arrival option for Libyan nationals.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| eVisa application Uganda eVisa | Apply for a Uganda eVisa at the official portal before you fly. The eVisa covers tourism, business, and transit visits. Processing takes 2–5 working days, so apply at least a week ahead.Apply for eVisa | Required |
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of stay | Your passport needs to be valid for the entire time you plan to stay in Uganda. No specific 6-month rule, but airlines often enforce it — check with your carrier before check-in. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of onward travel | Immigration at Entebbe Airport routinely asks for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready — they check this before stamping you in. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Carry a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host. Officers rarely ask, but if they do, having it avoids delays at the counter. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Sufficient cash or card for your stay | Have at least $200 USD equivalent in cash or a credit card. Immigration may ask how you'll support yourself — showing a card or cash works fine. | Recommended |
