Moroccan passport holders need an eVisa to travel to Cameroon. The online application is straightforward — you'll receive a PDF by email, which you print and show at the airport. As of 2026, this is the only way to get a visa for tourism or business.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply before departure
Apply for a Cameroon eVisa at the official portal before you fly. Processing takes 3–5 business days, and you need a digital passport photo and proof of yellow fever vaccination. Print the approval letter and carry it with your passport.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must cover entire stay
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Cameroon. Airlines check this at check-in, and immigration officers enforce it strictly.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure
Immigration officers routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a digital version on your phone ready to show.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a hotel reservation confirmation or a letter of invitation from your host in Cameroon. Officers may ask for this during the visa application or at the border.Recommended
Proof of funds
Bank statement or cash
Have a recent bank statement or enough cash (around 100,000 XAF per week) to cover your stay. Immigration may ask to see proof of sufficient funds.Recommended
Yellow fever vaccine is mandatory
You must show proof of yellow fever vaccination (yellow card) on arrival. Without it, you may be denied entry or forced to get vaccinated at the airport — which costs time and money.
eVisa is the only option
There is no visa on arrival or visa-free entry for Moroccan passport holders. Apply for the eVisa online before you travel. Print the approval — digital copies on your phone are not always accepted.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online

Processing usually takes 3–5 business days. You'll get a PDF approval by email. Print it — you'll need a paper copy to show at check-in and on arrival.
3
Arrive at Yaoundé or Douala airport
Most flights land at Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport (NSI) or Douala International Airport (DLA). Go to the immigration desk, present your passport and printed eVisa. They'll stamp you in.
4
Show your return ticket and accommodation
Immigration officers may ask for proof of onward travel and where you're staying. Have your booking confirmations ready — on your phone or printed.
