No e-visa or visa-on-arrival for Moroccan passport holders
Even though the UK has an e-visa system for some nationalities, Moroccan citizens are not eligible. You must go through the full visa application process at the embassy/consulate — there is no shortcut.
Plan ahead for peak season
During summer (June-August) and around Christmas, visa processing times can stretch to 6 weeks or more. Apply at least 2 months before your intended travel date to avoid disappointment.
Don't book non-refundable flights before your visa is approved
Visa refusals happen, and the £115 fee is non-refundable. Wait for your visa decision before booking flights or paying for hotels in full. A refundable booking or a reservation (not paid) is enough for the application.

Complete the online application
Go to the official UK Visas and Immigration website and fill out the Standard Visitor visa form. You'll need to provide your passport details, travel history, and answer questions about your trip. Pay the £115 fee online with a credit or debit card.

Book and attend your biometric appointment
After submitting the form, you'll be directed to book an appointment at the TLScontact UK Visa Application Centre in Rabat. Bring your printed application, appointment confirmation, and passport. You'll give fingerprints and a photo — this takes about 15 minutes.

Submit your supporting documents
At the appointment, you'll hand over your passport and the supporting documents (bank statements, employment letter, accommodation proof). The staff will scan them and return the originals to you. Keep copies for your records.

Wait for the decision
Standard processing takes about 3 weeks, but it can take longer during peak seasons. You can track your application online using the reference number from your receipt. You'll be notified by email when your passport is ready for collection or courier delivery.

Travel to the UK
Once you have your visa vignette (sticker) in your passport, you can travel. At UK border control, you'll join the 'Other Passports' queue. Have your passport, and be ready to answer questions about your trip — the border officer may ask to see proof of funds or accommodation.
