Moroccan passport holders need a Schengen visa to enter Greece. Apply at the Greek embassy or a VFS Global center in Morocco. Valid passport
Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your departure date from the Schengen area
Your passport needs at least 3 months of validity after your planned exit from Greece (and the entire Schengen zone). It must have been issued within the last 10 years and have at least 2 blank pages. Airlines check this at check-in — no exceptions.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from the Schengen area
Immigration officers at Greek airports ask for a confirmed return or onward ticket showing you leave the Schengen zone within your visa's validity. A bus or ferry ticket to a non-Schengen country also works. Budget airlines sometimes check this before boarding.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Have a confirmed hotel reservation, Airbnb booking, or a formal invitation letter from a host in Greece. The booking must cover your entire stay and match the dates on your visa application. Immigration rarely asks, but the airline might.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself during the stay
Carry bank statements from the last 3 months showing at least €50 per day of your stay. Cash, credit cards, or a combination works. Officers in Athens sometimes ask — have a printout ready.Recommended
Apply well in advance
Visa processing can take up to 45 days during summer. Do not book flights or non-refundable accommodation until your visa is approved.
Schengen area rules
A Greek visa lets you visit all 27 Schengen countries. Your total stay cannot exceed 90 days in any 180-day period. Keep track of your days — overstaying has serious consequences.
