Go to https://www.evisa.mr/ and fill out the application form. You'll need your passport details, a digital photo, and your travel itinerary. Submit the form and pay the visa fee online.
2
Receive your e-Visa by email
Processing typically takes a few business days. Once approved, you'll receive the e-Visa as a PDF. Print at least one copy to carry with you, and also save a digital copy on your phone.
3
Arrive in Mauritania
At Nouakchott–Oumtounsy International Airport (or at land border crossings like Guerguerat), present your passport and printed e-Visa to immigration. They'll stamp your passport and let you through. Have your return ticket and accommodation details ready in case they ask.
4
Register with local authorities (if staying long-term)
If you plan to stay longer than 30 days, you may need to register with the local police or immigration office in Nouakchott. This is not required for short visits but is good to know.
