Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply online before travel
Apply for a Pakistan eVisa at visa.nadra.gov.pk at least 7–10 days before departure. The portal accepts multiple nationalities and processes tourist, business, and transit visas. Print the approval letter and carry it with your passport — immigration at Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad will ask for it.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for entire stay
Your Moroccan passport must be valid for at least the full duration of your stay in Pakistan. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires before you leave, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Pakistan
Immigration officers at Pakistani airports routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone. Airlines also verify this before issuing a boarding pass.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a hotel reservation confirmation or a letter of invitation from your host in Pakistan. Immigration may ask where you are staying — having a printed booking avoids delays.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show sufficient money for your stay
Have a bank statement or cash equivalent to cover your expenses in Pakistan. Immigration rarely asks, but if they do, showing around $500 USD equivalent is a safe baseline.Recommended
eVisa is mandatory — no visa on arrival
Moroccan passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in Pakistan. You must apply and receive your eVisa before you fly. Without it, you'll be denied boarding.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you enter Pakistan, not from your departure date. Double-check before applying.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Pakistan eVisa portal (visa.nadra.gov.pk). Fill in your personal details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 3–5 working days, but apply at least a week early.
2
Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get an email with your eVisa PDF. Print two copies — one to keep with your passport, one as a backup. Also save a digital copy on your phone.
3
Prepare your documents for departure
Before leaving Morocco, gather: passport (with 6+ months validity), printed eVisa, return ticket, first night hotel booking, and travel insurance. Keep them all in a single folder in your carry-on.
4
Arrive at a Pakistani airport
You'll land at Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, or another international airport. Follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' immigration. Present your passport, eVisa, and return ticket if asked. The officer will stamp you in. The whole process takes 5–15 minutes.
5
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, head to baggage claim, then customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. You're free to go.
