Your Madagascar passport must be valid for at least the duration of your stay in Kyrgyzstan. Airlines at departure may enforce a 6-month validity rule — check with your carrier before flying.Required

Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Kyrgyzstan. Officers rarely ask for it, but having it ready avoids delays at the border.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Have at least $50 USD per day of your stay available in cash or on a card. Immigration may ask to see bank statements or a credit card. Keep a recent bank statement in your carry-on.Recommended
eVisa is your only option
Madagascar passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in Kyrgyzstan. You must apply and receive approval before you travel.
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Airlines check this before boarding. If your passport expires within 6 months of your entry date, you will not be allowed to fly.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for eVisa online
Go to https://evisa.e-gov.kg/ and fill out the application. Upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $30-50 depending on processing speed). You'll receive the eVisa by email within a few days.
2
Prepare your documents
Print or save to your phone: the eVisa approval, passport (with 6+ months validity), return ticket, and first night hotel booking. Keep them easily accessible.
3
Arrive at Manas International Airport (Bishkek)
After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for foreign passports. Have your passport and eVisa ready. The officer will check your documents, may ask about your trip, and stamp your passport. No additional forms needed.
4
Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim. Then head to customs — green channel if nothing to declare. You're free to enter Kyrgyzstan.
