Valid passport
Must be valid for the entire stay
Your passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Ukraine. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Ukrainian law, but airlines may enforce 6 months — check with your carrier.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Ukraine
Border officers may ask for a return or onward ticket to confirm you plan to leave within your visa validity. Have a printed or digital copy ready.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Immigration may ask where you're staying. A hotel confirmation or a letter from a host in Ukraine works. Keep a copy on your phone or printed.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Officers can ask for evidence of sufficient funds — around $50–$100 per day of stay. A bank statement or credit card usually satisfies this request.Recommended
No visa on arrival
Ukraine does not offer visa on arrival for Myanmar passport holders. You must apply and receive approval before you travel. Do not book flights until you have the visa in hand.
Keep digital copies
Save scans of your passport, visa, and travel insurance on your phone or in cloud storage. If you lose the originals, this makes replacement much easier.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-Visa online
Go to evisa.gov.ua/en/ and fill out the application. Upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $20-30 USD depending on processing speed). Processing takes 5-10 business days.
2
Receive your visa approval
You'll get an email with your e-Visa PDF. Print it and save a copy on your phone. The visa is usually valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
3
Prepare your documents for travel
Pack your passport, printed visa, return ticket, accommodation booking, and insurance. Keep them in your carry-on — you'll need them at check-in and at passport control.
4
Arrive at a Ukrainian airport
At Boryspil (Kyiv) or Lviv airport, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport, visa, and return ticket. The officer will ask your purpose of visit and where you're staying. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport and you're in.
