Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory
Gabon requires a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate for all travellers. Without it, you may be denied entry or quarantined. Get the shot at least 10 days before departure.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Gabon eVisa website (evisa.gouv.ga). Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the approved eVisa by email.

Print and save your eVisa
Once approved, print a paper copy of the eVisa and also save a PDF on your phone. You'll need to show it at immigration in Libreville (LBV) or Port-Gentil (POG).

Prepare your documents for arrival
Have your passport, printed eVisa, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation ready. Keep them in your hand luggage. At immigration, you'll queue at the 'Foreign Passports' counter. The officer will check your documents, stamp your passport, and you're in.
