What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Cameroon eVisa website (evisacameroon.com). Fill in your personal details, passport info, travel dates, and upload a passport-style photo. Pay the fee with a credit or debit card. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.
2
Print or save your eVisa approval
Once approved, you'll get an email with a PDF. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration in Cameroon.
3
Prepare your documents for departure
At Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or any departure airport, the airline will check your eVisa before letting you board. Have your passport, eVisa printout, and return ticket ready.
4
Arrive at Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport or Douala International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for foreign nationals. Hand over your passport, eVisa printout, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in. Keep your boarding pass handy in case they ask.
5
Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, go to baggage claim, then customs. There's usually no customs declaration form for personal items. Exit into the arrivals hall.
