Visa required — apply well in advance
Mozambican passport holders cannot enter China without a pre-approved visa. Start the process at least 3–4 weeks before your trip to allow for processing and any delays.

Pay the fee and collect your passport
Pay the visa fee at submission. When ready, collect your passport with the visa sticker inside. Check the visa dates match your travel plans.

Arrive in China and go through immigration
At the airport, join the 'Foreigners' queue. Hand over your passport with the visa, and be ready to show your return ticket and hotel booking if asked. You'll get an entry stamp — check it's correct.
