What happens at the border

Arrive at Kotoka International Airport (or land border)
Follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Immigration'. At Kotoka, the counter is just before passport control. At land borders, go to the immigration office.

Fill out the visa application form
You'll get a short form on arrival. Fill in your details — name, passport number, flight number, accommodation address. Keep it simple.

Submit documents and pay the fee
Hand over your passport, completed form, return ticket, and accommodation proof. Pay the visa fee in cash (USD preferred). The officer will process and stamp your passport.

Proceed to passport control
After getting the visa sticker, go to the passport control queue. The officer will check your visa and stamp you in. You're free to enter Ghana.
