Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the Hong Kong Immigration Department's eVisa portal (search 'HK eVisa'). Fill in your personal details, passport info, and travel plans. Upload a scanned copy of your passport bio page and a recent passport-style photo. Pay the fee (around HKD 230, about USD 30) by credit card. Submit and wait for the approval email — typically 2–5 business days.

Print your eVisa approval letter
Once approved, you'll receive a PDF attachment. Print it in colour on A4 paper. Keep it with your passport — you'll need to show it at immigration on arrival.

Arrive at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)
After landing, follow signs to 'Arrivals' and then 'Immigration'. Join the queue for 'Foreign Passports' (not e-Channel). Have your passport, printed eVisa, and boarding pass ready.
