Valid passport
Must cover your entire stay
Your Nigerian passport must be valid for at least the duration of your stay in Kosovo. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires before you leave, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Required for entry
Border officers routinely ask for proof of onward travel. Have a printed or digital copy of your return flight or a ticket to your next destination ready. Without it, you risk being refused entry.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Immigration may ask where you are staying. Have a hotel reservation, rental agreement, or a letter from your host ready. A simple booking confirmation email works.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Officers can request evidence you have enough money for your stay. Carry a bank statement or credit card showing available funds. No fixed minimum is published, but €50–€100 per day is a safe benchmark.Recommended
Apply early — no visa on arrival
There is no visa-on-arrival for Nigerian passport holders. You must get the e-Visa approved before you fly. Apply at least a week in advance.
Passport validity counts from arrival
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land in Kosovo, not from your departure date. Check your passport now.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-Visa online
Go to e-viza.rks-gov.net, fill in the application form, upload your passport scan and a passport-sized photo, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the approved visa by email.
2
Pack your documents
Print or save on your phone: the approved visa email, your passport, return ticket, accommodation booking, and travel insurance. Keep them together in a folder or a phone album.
