What happens at the border

1
Arrive at the airport
At Muscat International Airport (or Salalah, Sohar, Duqm), follow the signs to 'Arrivals' and then to 'Immigration'. There are separate queues for GCC nationals and others — join the 'Foreign Visitors' line.
2
Present your passport
Hand over your passport to the immigration officer. They will scan it, check your face against the photo, and stamp you in. No visa fee is charged for Dutch citizens.
3
Collect your luggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim, then to Customs. There's usually a green 'Nothing to Declare' channel if you have no restricted items.
