Passport validity is strict
Tonga enforces the 6-month passport validity rule strictly. If your passport expires within 6 months of your arrival, you will be denied boarding by the airline or entry at immigration. Renew your passport before you go.

Arrive at Fuaʻamotu International Airport (TBU)
You'll land at Tonga's main international airport near Nuku'alofa. Follow signs to the immigration hall.

Join the queue for foreign passport holders. Have your passport, return ticket (printed or on phone), and accommodation booking ready.

Present documents and receive entry stamp
Hand over your passport and any requested documents. The officer will stamp you in for up to 90 days. No visa fee.

Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, head to baggage claim, then customs. You're free to enter Tonga.
