Armenia entry requirements for Nepal passport holders
Nepali passport holders need a visa to enter Armenia in 2026. The easiest way is to apply for an e-visa online before you travel. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of entry.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| eVisa application Apply before travel | Apply for an Armenian eVisa at evisa.mfa.am at least 3 working days before departure. The eVisa costs $12 USD for a single-entry 21-day stay or $40 USD for a 120-day multiple-entry visa. Print the approval email and carry it with your passport — immigration at Zvartnots Airport will scan the barcode.Apply for eVisa | Required |
| Valid passport Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay | Your Nepalese passport must have at least 6 months of validity remaining from your date of entry into Armenia. Airlines at Kathmandu check this strictly — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Required for entry | Border officers at Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport routinely ask for proof of onward travel. Have a printed or digital copy of your return flight or a ticket to your next destination ready. Budget airlines like Wizz Air may also check this at check-in. | Required |
| Proof of accommodation Recommended to carry | Immigration may ask where you are staying, especially if you arrive without a hotel booking. Carry a printed hotel confirmation or a letter of invitation from a host in Armenia. Airbnb bookings are accepted. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Recommended to carry | Officers rarely ask for proof of funds for short stays, but have a bank statement or credit card showing at least $500 USD available. If you are staying with friends or family, a letter of sponsorship can help. | Recommended |
