Nepali citizens cannot get a visa at the airport in Nassau. You must have an approved eVisa before you board your flight. Airlines check this at check-in.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in the Bahamas, not from your departure date. If it expires sooner, renew it before applying for the eVisa.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Bahamas immigration eVisa website and fill out the application. Upload a digital passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee with a credit card. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.

Receive and save your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get the eVisa by email. Print a copy and also save a PDF on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration in Nassau.

Prepare your documents for travel
Before you leave, gather: your passport (valid 6+ months), printed eVisa, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation. Keep them in your carry-on.

Arrive at Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS)
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration'. Join the queue for foreign visitors. Have your passport, eVisa, return ticket, and accommodation proof ready. The officer will stamp your passport and let you through.
