Apply for your eVisa online
Go to the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs eVisa portal. Fill in your details, upload a passport scan and photo, and pay the fee. You'll receive a confirmation email. Processing usually takes 2–5 business days.

Complete Check-Mig within 72 hours of departure
Visit migracioncolombia.gov.co and fill out the free Check-Mig form. You'll need your flight details and accommodation address. Save the confirmation PDF or screenshot.

Prepare your documents for the airport
Print or save on your phone: eVisa approval, passport (valid 6+ months), return/onward ticket, accommodation confirmation, and Check-Mig confirmation. Keep them easily accessible.

Arrive at El Dorado Airport (BOG) or other entry point
At immigration, present your passport and the documents above. The officer may ask about your plans. Answer clearly. After stamping, you're free to enter. The whole process usually takes 10–20 minutes.
