Your passport must have at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps. Mongolia strictly enforces the 6-month validity rule — airlines check this at check-in.Required

Immigration officers at Chinggis Khaan International Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone.Required

Have a recent bank statement or enough cash (around 1,000,000 MNT per day) to cover your stay. Officers rarely ask, but it helps if you look under-prepared.Recommended
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you enter Mongolia. If it expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. Check your passport now.
Keep a printed copy of your eVisa
Immigration officers at Ulaanbaatar airport will ask to see a physical printout of your eVisa. A digital copy on your phone is not always accepted. Print it before you leave.
