What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-Visa online
Go to the official Ukraine e-Visa website (evisa.gov.ua). Fill in the application, upload your passport scan and photo, and pay the fee. Processing takes 3–5 business days, sometimes longer. Apply at least 2 weeks before your trip.
2
Pack your documents
Print or save digital copies of your approved e-Visa, passport, return ticket, accommodation booking, and insurance. Keep them together in a folder or on your phone.
3
Arrive at the airport in Ukraine
At Kyiv Boryspil or any other international airport, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and e-Visa. The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation. Answer clearly — they're checking you're a genuine visitor.
4
Get your entry stamp
Once approved, the officer stamps your passport with the entry date and allowed stay. Check the stamp before leaving the counter — make sure the dates are correct.
