What happens at the border

1

Check that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your entry date and has a blank page. Print or save your hotel booking, return ticket, and any insurance documents on your phone or as hard copies.
2
Arrive at the Albanian border
Whether you fly into Tirana International Airport (TIA) or cross by land from Greece, Montenegro, Kosovo, or North Macedonia, go to the 'All Passports' or 'Non-EU' queue. Have your passport ready.
3
Present your passport and answer questions
The border officer will stamp your passport and may ask about the purpose of your visit, where you're staying, and how long you plan to stay. Answer clearly and honestly. You'll get an entry stamp valid for up to 90 days.
4
Keep your entry stamp safe
