Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply online before travel
Apply at the official Kyrgyzstan eVisa portal at evisa.e-gov.kg. The eVisa is single-entry, valid for up to 90 days, and processing takes 3–5 business days. Print the approval letter and carry it with your passport — immigration at Manas International Airport will stamp it on arrival.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for entire stay
Your Peruvian passport needs at least one blank page for the entry stamp. Kyrgyzstan does not enforce a 6-month validity rule — just ensure your passport covers your full stay.Required
Return or onward ticket
Show proof of departure
Immigration officers at Bishkek airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready — airlines also check this before boarding.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation letter
Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host in Kyrgyzstan. Border officers rarely ask, but having it ready avoids delays.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can cover your stay
Have a bank statement or credit card showing at least $50 USD per day of your trip. Immigration may ask if you look underfunded — better to have it on your phone or printed.Recommended
eVisa is mandatory — no exceptions
Peruvian passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival. You must have the eVisa approved before you board your flight. Airlines check this at check-in.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save your eVisa PDF, passport scan, and travel insurance on your phone and in cloud storage (Google Drive, iCloud). If you lose the printout, you can show the digital version at immigration.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to https://evisa.e-gov.kg/ and fill out the application. You'll need a digital photo, passport scan, and travel details. Pay the fee (around $50–$70 depending on processing speed). Processing takes 2–5 business days.
2
Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF via email. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. Immigration at Manas Airport in Bishkek will ask to see it.
3
Prepare your documents for arrival
Before you land, have your passport, eVisa printout, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation ready. Keep them in your hand luggage — not checked bags.
4
Go through immigration at Manas Airport
At Bishkek's Manas Airport, join the foreign passport queue. Hand over your passport, eVisa, and return ticket. The officer may ask a few questions (purpose of visit, where you're staying). Answer clearly. You'll get a stamp allowing up to 60 days.
