Mongolia entry requirements for Peru passport holders
Peruvian passport holders can travel to Mongolia without a visa for stays up to 90 days. This visa-free policy has been in effect since 2026, making Mongolia an easy addition to any Central Asia itinerary. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your arrival date.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your passport needs to be valid for the entire time you plan to stay in Mongolia. Airlines check this at check-in, and immigration at Ulaanbaatar's Chinggis Khaan International Airport will deny boarding if it expires before you leave. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Mongolia | Immigration officers at Ulaanbaatar routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone — they won't let you through without one. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Carry a printed hotel confirmation or a letter from your host. Border officers rarely ask for it, but having it ready avoids delays if they do. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Have a bank statement or credit card showing at least $50 USD per day. Officers almost never check this for short stays, but it's a legal requirement and can be requested. | Recommended |
