Apply for e-visa online
Go to evisa.gov.az, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee. Processing takes 3–5 business days for the standard option. You'll receive the visa by email as a PDF.

Print the e-visa, pack your passport, and save digital copies of your return ticket and hotel booking on your phone. Have them ready before you reach the immigration counter.

Arrive at the airport in Azerbaijan
At Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' after disembarking. Join the queue, present your passport and e-visa, and answer any questions about your stay. The officer will stamp you in.

Collect your luggage and exit
After clearing immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's nothing special to declare for most tourists. Exit into the arrivals hall.
