What happens at the border

Apply for eVisa online
Go to the Royal Oman Police eVisa website (evisa.rop.gov.om). Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee (around 20 OMR for a single-entry visa). Processing usually takes 1–3 business days.

Receive and save your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF by email. Print a paper copy and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration in Muscat.

Arrive at Muscat International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'eVisa' or 'Foreign Passports' immigration counters. Have your passport, eVisa printout, return ticket, and hotel booking ready. The officer will scan your passport and stamp you in.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's no arrival declaration form to fill out. You're free to leave the airport.
