Filipino passport holders need a visa to enter Kosovo in 2026. You must apply online before you travel — there is no visa-on-arrival option. Plan ahead, as processing can take a couple of weeks.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply before travel
Philippine passport holders need a visa for Kosovo. Apply online at the Kosovo eVisa Portal (e-viza.rks-gov.net) at least a few weeks before your trip. Processing times vary — check the portal for current fees and required documents.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must cover entire stay
Your Philippine passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Kosovo. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Kosovo law, but airlines may enforce 6 months — check with your carrier.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure
Border officers may ask for a return or onward ticket showing you'll leave Kosovo within your visa validity. Have a printed or digital copy ready — airlines also check this before boarding.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or invitation
Immigration may request proof of where you're staying — a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host. Keep a copy on your phone or printed.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Officers can ask for evidence of sufficient funds for your stay. Carry bank statements or a credit card — no set minimum amount is published, but have enough to cover accommodation and expenses.Recommended
Apply early — no rush service
The e-Visa can take up to 3 weeks to process. There is no expedited or premium option. If you apply too close to your departure, you risk not getting approval in time.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save PDFs of your e-Visa, passport, tickets, and hotel booking on your phone and in cloud storage. If you lose the printout, you can show the digital copy at immigration.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-Visa online
Go to e-viza.rks-gov.net, fill in your details, upload your passport scan and photo, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 5–15 business days. You'll receive an approval email — print it and save a PDF on your phone.
2
Pack your documents
Before you leave, gather: your printed e-Visa approval, passport, return ticket, first night's hotel booking, and travel insurance. Keep them in a folder you can grab quickly.
3
Arrive at Pristina International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and e-Visa printout. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel confirmation — have them ready. Expect a short interview: purpose of visit, length of stay, where you're staying.
4
Get your passport stamped
Once approved, the officer stamps your passport with your entry date and allowed stay. Double-check the stamp before leaving the counter. If something's wrong, ask to correct it immediately.
