Pakistan passport holders need a visa to enter Armenia in 2026. You must apply online before you travel — there is no visa-on-arrival option. Plan ahead, as processing can take up to a week.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply online before travel
Apply for an Armenian eVisa at evisa.mfa.am. The standard tourist visa costs $8 USD for single entry (21 days) or $40 USD for multiple entry (up to 120 days). Processing takes 3–5 working days — do not book flights until approved.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must cover entire stay
Your Pakistani passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Armenia. Airlines check this at check-in — if your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure
Border officers at Zvartnots Airport in Yerevan routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready showing you leave Armenia within your visa validity.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Immigration may ask where you are staying. Have a hotel confirmation, Airbnb booking, or a letter from your host with their address and contact number ready. A printed copy avoids phone data issues.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Officers occasionally ask for proof you have enough money for your stay. Carry a bank statement or credit card showing access to at least $50 USD per day of your trip. Cash in USD or EUR is widely accepted.Recommended
Apply early — no visa on arrival
Pakistan passport holders cannot get a visa at the airport. You must apply online at evisa.mfa.am at least a week before your trip. Processing takes 3–5 business days, and delays happen.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the day you land in Armenia, not from your departure date. Double-check before you apply.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the e-Visa online
Go to evisa.mfa.am, fill in your details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee (around $8–$10 USD). Processing takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the visa by email.
2
Pack your documents
Print or save to your phone: the visa approval email, your passport (valid 6+ months), return ticket, and first-night hotel booking. Keep them together in a folder.
3
Arrive at Yerevan airport
At Zvartnots International Airport (EVN), head to the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and visa approval. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel address. Answer clearly. You'll get a stamp and be through in 5–10 minutes.
4
Exit and collect luggage
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel. There are ATMs and SIM card shops in the arrivals hall.
