What happens at the border

1
Apply for a Belarus e-visa
Go to the official Belarus e-visa website (e-visa.by) and fill out the application. You'll need a scanned copy of your passport bio page, a digital photo, and details of your travel. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days. You'll receive the approved visa by email.
2
Prepare your documents
Print or save digital copies of your approved visa, passport, return ticket, hotel booking, and travel insurance. Keep them in a folder or on your phone for quick access at immigration.
3
Arrive at Minsk National Airport (MSQ)
At the airport, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. Join the queue for foreign passports. Have your passport, visa, and return ticket ready. The officer may ask about your trip duration and accommodation. Answer clearly. After stamping, you're free to enter.
4
Register your stay (if staying more than 5 days)
If you're staying in Belarus for more than 5 days, your hotel or host must register your address with the local migration office. Hotels do this automatically. If you're in a private home, you or your host must do it within 5 days of arrival. Keep the registration slip — you'll need it when leaving.
